Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 21 June 2013

Over the past two weeks the children across Key Stage One have undergone a number of screening checks, test and assessment tasks. They have all worked extremely hard and despite this have still behaved brilliantly and continued to show a fantastic attitude towards their learning.

The children from KS1 have also been awarded the Citizens of the week for the week ending 21 June for their fantastic effort. Well done!
Recently the parents who attend the Friday parent sessions “How your child learns” at our school visited Macaroon’s on Bury Road, Rochdale.

Everyone enjoyed the event and the experience will be the basis for the next two weeks work. Thank you to Mrs Coward for planning this opportunity for our parents and we would also like to recognize how hard the group of parents work on a weekly basis.

Thank you once again for the support with the recent Bags2School collection. We will let you know how much has been raised as soon as it has all been counted.

There will be a number of Educational visits and visitors to school over the next few weeks. Individual units and year groups will be in touch with Parents/Carers directly. Next weeks Entry/Exit points include:

Tuesday 25 June, Key Stage 1 -Blackpool Tower Circus
Wednesday 26 June, Foundation Unit - Mobile Farm
