Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 14 June 2013

It was brilliant to see so many parents in the Lower Key Stage 2 Assembly on Thursday supporting Year 3 and Year 4. It is clear that the children in lower Key Stage 2 have really enjoyed their learning for their Rainforest IPC Topic and what a lot of learning there has been.

The Fire Service came into school this week to do a Summer Safety Workshop with the Year 6 Children. Unfortunately they were called away to an emergency, however, they will be coming back again in July!

A reminder that the children who are due to start Nursery at Hamer in September are invited in to School on Monday 17 June at 1.30-2.30pm. We looked forward to meeting Parents and children very soon

Reception Screening will take place on Tuesday 18 June for all Reception children. Please ensure your child is here on that day – Thank you.

On Friday 21 June we are running another Bag2School day. More information will be sent in due course. This has been repeated at the request of the children and due to the great support we received last time.

The Citizens of the week are the Cultural Awareness Group for acting in a mature manner and talking about their cultural beliefs at Smithy Bridge Primary School. Well Done.
