We have had so many excellent sporting results recently, which are due to the hard work and determination of our students and the PE teaching staff. Here are the results:

Football:

Under 13’s girls Npower Schools Cup Area Finalists – Rochdale Schools Champions
Under 15’s boys through to the last 16 in the country.
Year 9 Boys Rochdale Schools 5 a side Finalists
Year 7 Boys Rochdale Schools 5 a side Runners up
Year 9 Girls Rochdale Schools 5 a side competition – 3rd place
Under 14’s Girls Rochdale Schools League – 2nd place
Under 16’s Girls Rochdale Schools League – 4th place
Under 14’s Girls Rochdale Schools 5 a side competition – 2nd place

Year 7: Rochdale Netball League Runners up.
Year 8: 3rd place in the Rochdale Netball League
Year 9: Rochdale Netball League Champions
Year 10: Rochdale Netball League Runners up.
Year 11: Rochdale Netball League Runners up.

Badminton:

Year 9 Girls Rochdale School Champions, Quarter Finalist at GM County Finals, GM Catholic Cup Winners
Year 11 Girls Rochdale Schools Runners Up

Basketball:

Year 9 Boys Rochdale Schools Champions - GM County Finalists representing Rochdale
Year 10 Boys Rochdale Schools Runners Up
Year 11 Boys Rochdale Schools – 3rd place
Year 8/9 Girls Rochdale Schools Champions – 5th place in GM County Finalists representing Rochdale

Indoor Athletics:

Year 7 Girls - Greater Manchester finals – 5th place
Year 7 Boys - Greater Manchester finals – 3rd place
Year 8 Girls - Greater Manchester finals – 3rd place
Year 8 Boys – Greater Manchester finals – 2nd place (the boys now qualify for the North West finals)

Indoor Cricket:

Lady Taverner’s Area Runners Up – (U13 & U15)

Rounders:

Under 16’s Girls Greater Manchester Catholic Cup Runners up
Under 15’s Girls Greater Manchester Catholic Cup Winners

Handball:

Under 13’s girls regional winners – the girls are now through to the national finals on June 29th in London

Athletics Outdoor:

Quad Kids Athletics Area winners – the Year 7 team now go through to represent Rochdale in the Summer Games.

Rugby:

Year 9 Boys – Rochdale Schools Champions
Year 8 Girls – Rochdale Schools Tag Rugby Champions the team now go through to represent Rochdale in the Summer Games.
