Healey Foundation Primary School

School has resumed for the final half term in the run up to the long summer break. We are delighted with the new Year 2 classroom, it looks very smart with a new lick of paint and new furniture. The workmen worked very hard the half term break to transform the classroom.
Book Week starts on Monday and will last all week, we will have a range of books on sale after school every night in the Year 1 classroom. Please come along and have a browse. On Friday Year 5 are on a Taster day at Whitworth High School. The children will be collected and brought back by coach within the school day.
Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Cup on the last day before the holiday:
Reception: Emma Barber
Year 1: Abhijeet Das
Year 2: Dominic McCardle
Year 3: Jessica Johnson
Year 4: Jamie Watts
Year 5: Christopher Pickup
Year 6: Jack Hill
Attendance for the whole school was 97% and for the second time Mrs Smith and her lovely Year 3 class took charge of the 100% Attendance Trophy.
