Mayor of Rochdale Councillor Peter Rush at the Dynamic Ladies Healthy Walk Challenge
The Healthy Walk Challenge aimed to promote local health initiative by encouraging people to integrate physical exercise, especially walking, in to their daily life.
The event was organised by the Dynamic Ladies Of Greater Manchester and was opened by the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Peter Rush, on 2 June.
Dynamic Ladies of Greater Manchester works in partnership with other organisations to promote the wellbeing of women in Greater Manchester - a group of African women whose aim is to promote African culture and overcome misconceptions due to cultural barriers.
