Oulder Hill School

Date published: 04 June 2013

We would like to welcome everyone back and hope that you have all had a happy and relaxing break. As you will no doubt be aware the exam season is up and running therefore we would like to thank all parents and carers of students who are involved in external exams for the help and support they are giving to their children to help them prepare effectively.

Congratulations to forms 7A, 8B, 8G, 9B and 10D for their 100% attendance week commencing 13 May 2013. It is no wonder we are graded as “Outstanding” for student attendance and we feel this is testament to how much our students enjoy and value their education here at Oulder Hill.

This week Year 7 pupils have the opportunity to take part in skill and team building exercises at Burrs Activity Centre in Bury. We hope the weather is kind to them and they have an enjoyable time.

We will be hosting our annual ‘Not Strictly Eurovision’ event on Thursday 13 June. Some of our local Primary Schools will be taking part in the language and music spectacular, with performances from last year’s winner and runners-up during the official adjudication to crown the 2013 Champions. Doors open at 6:00pm for what promises to be an entertaining evening.
