They collected 21 bags of litter and rubbish in the area.

They spoke to residents, shopkeepers and members of the community who use the services on Milkstone Road and explained to them what they have been doing and they will do in the days to come.

Ghulam Rasul Shahzad, Secretary, had a meeting with Councillor Daalat Ali, Robina Yasmin of the Fire & Rescue Services and members of the management committee of Shah Jalal Academy on Belfield Road for a future clean up in Belfield Road.

REAG is working closely with Deeplish & Castlemere Community Centre and businesses to raise their customers’ awareness and also to provide them with larger bins.

The REAG AGM will be held on Wednesday 26 June, 2013, from 4pm to 7pm at Castlemere Community Centre, Tweedale Street, Rochdale.

REAG intends to set up a Networking Group within the Borough so that they can learn from one another’s experiences and knowledge.
