Zumbathon raises over £100 for NSPCC
Date published: 20 May 2013
Fisherfield Farm Nursery in Norden raised over £100 for the NSPCC in a Zumbathon on Saturday 18 May.
The 45 minute Zumbathon, lead by the nursery team, involved staff members, parents and children in what was described as a “team fun experience.”
Approximately 20 people were involved and staff hope to have raised over £100.
The nursery, which looks after children from three months to five years old, is continuously raising money for the NSPCC.
Team leader of the Little Farmer’s room, Ali Howells said: “The NSPCC is our charity for the children. Because we are a nursery, we raise a lot of money for them.”
Founded in 1884 by the Reverend Benjamin Waugh, the NSPCC works to make a difference for all children the UK.
Ali Howells added: “We will be doing more fundraising for the charity.”
