As you all know the Year 6 children have all taken their SATs this week. Thank you for supporting the children to ensure that they all arrived on time and were in school every day. The Year 6 children have demonstrated a superb attitude towards their learning over the course of the year which is excellent. Thank you also to all the staff who work tirelessly to ensure the children achieve their potential.

Year 6 children have been awarded the Citizens of the week for the week ending 17th May 2013 for having an excellent attitude and coping well under pressure during SATS week.

Well done to Miss Nicholson’s Year 2 Class who, not only performed wonderfully last Sunday but also behaved brilliantly. What superb ambassadors for our school! A huge thank you to Miss Nicholson and Mrs Coward for taking the children and our brilliant parent volunteers – thank you again!

A number of Exit points/Educational Visits will be taking place next week. There will be more information from individual classes/units to follow.

For the Lunchtime Recognition Awards the following children enjoyed their lunch at Pizza Hut on Friday 17 May with Mrs Hoyle, Mrs Hollywood and Mrs Flynn. These are all children who have consistently demonstrated a high level of manners and courtesy over the lunchtime period at school. What super role models they are:
