Year 6 SATs
We are very proud of the way Year 6 pupils have approached the SATs tests so far this week – they have tried very hard. Thank you to parents for their support.

Bike-It
Unfortunately there were so many extra children coming on a Thursday that we cannot continue to provide free breakfasts as we already have approx. 70 children at Breakfast Club. Children will still receive a raffle ticket for any day they come on their bike or scooter and there will be a raffle at the end of the year for a new bicycle.

Christian Aid
Thank you very much for your response so far. Can you please send any more envelopes in by this Friday. Thank you.

Dinner Money
Lunches are now £1.85 per day - £9.25 per week. Please send money on a Monday morning, in an envelope with your child’s name and class on.
Money envelopes are on sale from the school office for £1.50.

New Menus
From next week the kitchen are starting new menus on a four weekly basis. Next week we will be on week 4. We will be putting a copy of the new menus on the school portal.

Kingswood
Any outstanding money for this trip must be in by Friday, 24 May at the latest. Thank you.

Story Sacs - Reception
Story Sacs are on a Tuesday afternoon for Reception children and parents. We will be having it as a drop-in session any time between 2.30pm and 3pm for you to come and choose a story sac with your child.

Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are now due - £17.10. Fees must be paid weekly in order for lessons to continue. Please also send any outstanding music fees into school as soon as possible in order for lessons to continue. Thank you.

Maternity Leave
Mrs. Crowther is finishing for maternity leave on Friday. We would like to wish her luck and we are looking forward to seeing her soon with her new baby. Mrs. Riaz will be covering her maternity leave.

Martial Arts
We have 50 tickets to watch a Martial Arts Competition and Showcase on 18 June 3.30pm-6pm at Matthew Moss High School. Some of our past pupils and two of our present pupils, Tyler Lord and Ravish Morar, are taking part. If you are interested, tickets will be available from the school office and are £2.00 each. Parents will need to take their children.

Sainsbury Vouchers
We are still collecting these vouchers in – they finish on 22 May.

Text Messaging Service
We are continuing to use our text messaging service and in some cases, instead of sending letters out. Therefore it is extremely important that you ensure you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.
NB. You cannot reply to the text messages.
