Bowlee Park Boys Football team

Congratulations to the Bowlee Park Boys Football team who won the Middleton Schools football tournament.

They played 6 games, winning 4 and drawing 2.

They played magnificently throughout and did themselves proud.

Well done boys, we are very proud of you all!

Bowlee Park Community School Drama Group

Bowlee Park Community School Drama Group took part in a Showcase at the Contact Theatre Manchester recently.

The children performed ‘Blitzed’ which told the story of children evacuated during the war through the eyes of ‘Granny’ played by April McCarrick.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves, there wasn’t a sign of any stage fright!

The Drama group is run by Mrs Joanne Cochrane of the Tracing Steps Theatre and Dance Academy. Joanne was really pleased with the acting, singing and dancing on the day.

Parents who weren’t able to watch the performance at the Contact Theatre were able to attend a special assembly where the children performed for all the Key Stage 2 children.
