Temporary closure of Milnrow Road

Part of Milnrow Road in Rochdale will be closed overnight for three days this week, as work on the town centre’s new Metrolink line continues.
In order to resurface the carriageway on Oldham Road, part of Milnrow Road will be closed from 9pm to 6am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The section affected runs from the junction with Drake Street to just beyond the pedestrian crossing near to the junction with Oldham Road.
Diversions will be clearly signposted throughout the work, with traffic directed to follow School Lane via Moore St and Drake Street/Oldham Road via Molesworth Street and Water Street or Smith Street.
Pedestrian access during these works will be maintained at all times.
