Date published: 02 May 2013

Ambassador Award
We are one of only two schools in the North West to have had our Ambassador status renewed. Our specialism is Innovative approach to Learning, Engagement and Behavioural Change.

Congratulations to all the pupils, staff and the local community. Thank you for your continued support.

Year 6 SATs
Year 6 SATs start the week beginning Monday 13 May. Free cooked breakfasts will be available for Year 6 children between 8am and 8.20am on Monday – Thursday during SATs week. Please make sure children have plenty of rest and sleep during this time and leading up to the tests.

Robinwood
Apologies for cancelling the meeting which has now been rescheduled for Tuesday 7 May 6.30 – 7pm.
Please pay any outstanding money as soon as possible as school has now paid all the money for this trip.

Text Messaging Service
We are continuing to use our text messaging service and in
some cases, instead of sending letters out. Therefore it is extremely important that you ensure you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.
NB. You cannot reply to the text messages.

School Visit
Yesterday Marland Hill’s Eco Committee came with some teachers to have a look around our school and to ask our Eco Committee questions regarding our work in and around the school.

Story Sacs - Reception
Story Sacs are on a Tuesday afternoon for Reception children and parents. We will be having it as a drop-in session any time between 2.30pm and 3pm for you to come and choose a story sac with your child to take home.

Bank Holiday
School will be closed on Monday 6th May for Bank Holiday and will reopen at the usual time on Tuesday 7 May.

Holiday List 2013/14
There is an amended Holiday List on the back of this week’s newsletter.
