Congratulations to the three musicians who will be representing our school this weekend at the Future Perfect Festival in Castlefield, Manchester this Bank Holiday Monday. The three performers will be singing their own compositions to a potential audience of thousands and are featured on the main stage line-up. Well done to the three learners, Ms Williams and Mr Dalby for supporting this charity event.

Learners on the CALL visit to Leeds City Museum this Tuesday should report to the Lower Year Centre at the stated time. learners not attending the visit should go to their usual lessons. Learners attending the visit to Leeds City Museum and Yorkshire Sculpture Park should arrive in full uniform with a sensible bag and coat and stationery. They should also remember to bring a packed lunch unless they are in receipt of a free school meal when a packed lunch will be provided. For more details or further enquiries, contact Mr De Courcey.

Letters for our Local History Walk have been issued to learners in Year 7. The walk takes place in July and reply forms should be sent directly to Mr. De Courcey in the CEPA Office.

We are asking for donations of the following items to help in our forthcoming C.A.L.L. ‘New Ghosts’ project. If you have any newspapers, wallpaper or plant pots that you no longer need then we would be grateful for them. Please send all donations for the attention of Mr. Ahmed in the CEPA Office.

A theatre visit to see ‘A Doll’s House’ at The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester has been organised in May for BTEC Drama and Performing Arts students. For more details or for a letter for the visit, please contact Mr. Mvula. The theatre visit backstage tour is also planned before the show.

The exam season is almost upon us and students are reminded to inform their parents if they intend to stay for revision classes or other coursework sessions. Students should also ensure that they leave school promptly after these sessions for safety reasons.
