Healey Foundation Primary School

On Wednesday some of our Year 4 children are taking part in a tennis completion at Kingsway Park High School. The children will be taken down by staff after school but will need collecting from Kingsway Park High School Turf Hill Road, at 6 o’clock. Children taking part will bring home more detailed information.

On Friday we are delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress for a visit to school.

On Tuesday morning the Fire Service will be outside the school gates offering advice about safer travel.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday.
Reception Ella Cavanagh
Year 2 Isabelle Blackburn
Year 3 Alisha Mohammed
Year 4 Kai Amin
Year 5 Kelly Hancock
Year 6 Curtis Priestley

In spite of Chicken Pox attendance is much better with whole school managing 96% and Year 4 achieving 100% well done, keep it up!

Finally – Year 1 had a super day at Tatton Park going back in time to take part in a Victorian ‘below stairs’ experience. The children, all in costume, made scones, polished the silver and scrubbed floors. Thank you to the parents who fully embraced the spirit of the day and kitted children out in Victorian clothing. We have some lovely pictures uploaded onto the school website.

School will be closed for the May Day holiday on Monday. Enjoy your long weekend.
