Congratulations to all the Year 11 Maths students who have already gained their target grade in the recent public exam. We were extremely pleased with this success which is due to the commitment and dedication of our Maths department as well as all the students. Thank you also to all the teachers and students who continue to engage in the GCSE after school booster sessions.

The Senior Choir presented a melody of songs in the year 7 assembly, to encourage them to join the extra-curricular activities in the Expressive Arts Department. A Junior Choir and Drama Group Club for Year 7 pupils will now commence next week at lunchtimes, see notice board for days and times. Any pupils who are interested in joining the African Drumming Group should go to the Music Block on Tuesday at 12.45. The Steel Pans Group rehearses every Wednesday lunchtime in M1. New members are always welcome.

Year 7 News - Congratulations to Edgar Mupeta, form 7.9, who won the family ticket donated by Rochdale Football Club because of his positive attitude in school. Edgar will attend Rochdale’s last home match of the season with his family. “Come on the Dale!”

A new term a new start - the Attendance Form Challenge starts again: the form with the best attendance at the end of the term will celebrate with “The Big Breakfast” - you have to be in to win.
