Staff and students at Rochdale Sixth Form College recently put on an evening of musical entertainment – with the production of The Wedding Singer
Staff and students at Rochdale Sixth Form College put on an evening of musical entertainment – with the production of The Wedding Singer – a romantic comedy about a wedding singer who gets jilted at the altar by his fiancée.
A storyline most well-known for the Hollywood blockbuster starring Adam Sandler, the performance was held at the College’s theatre, with friends and family attending the show.
Laura Ainscow, Drama and Theatre Studies Teacher at Rochdale Sixth Form College comments: “The students hard work and dedication to this project really shone through.
"The cast successfully brought the 1980’s storyline to life, while the technical team and backstage crew made sure everything ran smoothly on each night.
"We’re lucky to have such a dedicated group of students here at the College, all with such a diverse range of skills and talents.”
