Welcome back to the Summer Term in school. We hope everyone had a restful holiday.

Mrs Partington would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, cards and gifts on her retirement.

Mrs Coxell would like to thank all those parents who kindly allowed their children to take the guinea pigs and rabbits home for the holidays.

New teachers
We would like to welcome Miss Flynn. She is teaching Class 5FL and is also our Literacy Co-ordinator in Key Stage 2. Miss Lilley has also joined us as a temporary member of staff until July 2013 and she will be teaching in Class 3P.

Events
Next Wednesday Castleton Sure Start group are visiting our school with children and parents to see all the animals.

Drama Club
Thank you to Mrs Taylor for giving up three days of her holiday to supervise and help run the Drama sessions. The children thoroughly enjoyed this club and put on a very good production of the Lion King at the end of the three days.

Gillian Nettleton who is our ‘Bike It’ Officer has been in school to work with our ‘Travel Team’ children. She has been teaching the children how repair punctures and how to repair their own bikes.

Dairy dates
Tuesday 23 April
Year 2 are going on a trip to the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
Thursday 25 and Friday 26 April
Year 1 will be going to the All in One Garden Centre.
Thursday 2 May
Robinwood parents meeting from 6.30 to 7.30p

Dinner Money
Dinner money should be paid on a Monday morning in advance in order to continue to receive school meals.
We are on week 2 of the 3 week cycle.

Drop in session
Reception Class parents are welcome to our Story Sac sessions. They run every Tuesday between 2.30-3pm.Come along and choose a story sac with your child to take home.

Sainsbury Vouchers
We are now collecting these vouchers.
