Police release CCTV stills of wanted men
Date published: 17 April 2013
Police have released CCTV stills of two men they want to speak to in connection with a car theft.
Detectives believe the car, worth around £20,000, was sold in Rochdale on to an unsuspecting person from the Humberside area several weeks later.
The victim, a 43-year-old man from Lowton near Warrington, had gone to the gym at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Lodge Lane, Haydock when the keys to his grey Audi Quattro Q7 were stolen from his locker.
Enquiries have led detectives to believe that the two men shown in the CCTV may have information that could be important to the police investigation. The men are believed to have been at the Holiday Inn in Haydock on around the time the Audi was stolen - 7.00pm on 27 February 2013.
Anyone who has any information is asked to call Detective Constable John Black on 0151 777 6843/6807 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
