Welcome back to the new school term.

This half term is six weeks long, with the first Monday in May off for May Day. Hopefully the weather will improve so the children will be able to use the grounds without becoming covered in mud!

The PTA are well underway with their plans for extending the fixed play equipment outdoors, this small group have worked hard to raise funds for the project so it will be good for parents to see the result of their tireless efforts.

The children set off bright and early on Monday morning for their trip to Robinwood.

On Friday the children were given details about the Rotary Box collection for this year. If you are able to fill a Rotary Shoebox for Eastern Europe – it can be anything from small toys for children, practical gifts for teenagers, cleaning materials for the home or socks, gloves for the an elderly person, please send £1 to buy a special Rotary Shoebox and you will receive details about when to boxes have to be returned.

Please can all Year 1 parents check they have paid for the trip to Tatton Park on 26 April, Miss Burrows has also sent out details for the costume the children should wear to gain most from the day.

The coach will be leaving very early – 8:30am from school, so it essential children arrive early that day. If you have any queries about the day please contact school.
