Honresfeld Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Day

An Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Day was held at Honresfeld, Leonard Cheshire Disability Home in Littleborough today (Sunday 7 April).
The family fun day included a craft fayre, Bags of Style, Bouncy Castle, Jewellery Made with a Smile, Tombola, Craft Cottage, Tutu's Tiaras, Crafts by Sophie and Hook a Duck.
A Mediterranean BBQ was provided by The Rakewith meat by Pete's Meat of Littleborough.
Nicola White, bronze medal winner as a member of the Team GB Women's Hockey, who attended and signed autographs, said: “I had a wonderful time visiting the Leonard Cheshire Centre to help raise money for such a worthy cause. The people and the staff there are fantastic and we had a lot of fun together.””
Danielle Turner, organiser of the event, said: "It's a great turn out, and thankfully the weather has brightened up.
"Everyone has had a good day with lots of fun supporting a great cause, local disabled people."
