Date published: 05 March 2013
A woman was threatened during a robbery in Middleton.
At around 7.30pm on Monday 4 March 2013, three people forced their way into a club on Higher Wood Street and went to the bar area. One of them threatened a member of staff whilst the others took cash from the safe.
As they were about to leave, another member of staff tripped one of the offenders. They dropped a number of coin bags on the floor before continuing to run from the building.
All three were said to be wearing ski masks and hoodies.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses.
Detective Constable Chris Whalley from Rochdale CID said: “This was a frightening experience for the woman.
“We are urging anyone who has any information about what happened or saw three men running from the club that evening to get in touch with police straight away.”
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 8552 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
