The Wednesday Afternoon Tea on 6 March starts at 4.30pm, and will be followed at 5.15pm by the Stitch 'n' Chatter group. At 7pm, Peter Watson will be speaking to the Women's League meeting about the Origin of Surnames.

The modern sequence dance on Saturday 9 March will start at 7.15pm. The whist drive starts at 6.45pm (contact Eunice for further details - 643319).

All are welcome to join us at 10.30 am on Sunday 10 March for our Mothering Sunday Service. Worship will be led by our minister, Rev Gillian Peel, with musical accompaniment from Ewa. There will be chance to stay and chat over tea/coffee after the service.

The book circle meets at 7.30pm on Monday 11 March, when we be discussing 'Sea of Poppies' by Avmitav Ghosh (contact Helen for further information - 649015).

Rev Peel and other members of the congregation will be attending a meeting of the Multifaith Partnership at 7pm on Tuesday 12 March, when the speaker will be Usman Nawaz talking about "Faiths against Malaria".

The Women's League will be lunching at Cottons Restaurant on Wednesday 13 March (booking required).

On Saturday 16 March a group will be visiting Bury Unitarian Church for the North East Lancs Unitarian AGM (contact Helen for further information - 649015).

Join us again for morning service at 10.30am on Sunday 17 March.
