Visit from guide dog puppy Robbie
On Tuesday we had a very special visitor named Robbie. Robbie is a Labrador puppy who is currently being looked after by his puppy walker Mrs Barbara Milhench.
Robbie is seven months old and called into St. John’s with his puppy walker Mrs Milhench to promote awareness of the very important role of guide dogs.
Robbie first of all attended morning assembly and Mrs Milhench gave a talk on the work of the Guide Dog Organisation and what life is like for a puppy before they start training as a guide dog, and what important work they do once they become a fully trained guide dog. After assembly, Robbie was taken to classrooms to allow children to ask questions and pet him if they wished.
