Make mum smile this Mothers Day

Date published: 26 February 2013

The Rochdale Exchange Kids Club workshops are back and even better for 2013! The first FREE workshop takes place in The Rochdale Exchange, next to ‘Coffee Options’ on Saturday 9 March, from 11.00am to 3.00pm, where you can make Mum a card and present for Mothers Day!

Mothers Day is the perfect time to show your Mum just how much she means to you, and nothing says this more than taking the time to make your very own personalised Mothers Day card.

Children are invited to join in the free Kids Club workshop and create colourful cards to show their Mum’s just how much they love her. All children who participate will also be able to make a small present in the form of a fancy flower with chocolate centre to give to their Mum. And if all that wasn’t enough there will also be an appearance and photo opportunity with Rosie, the Rochdale Exchange mascot!

Lorenzo O’Reilly, Centre Manager at The Rochdale Exchange commented: "Each of our Kids Clubs workshops coming up this year are packed with fun filled activities to keep the little ones entertained and the first of our workshops is no exception. We know our Kids Club members love making cards and presents for their Mums and the addition of the photo with Rosie will make these Mothers Day cards extra special."

If you are not a member of the Rochdale Kids Club yet but would like to be it’s easy and free. Children can sign up to become Kids Club members online by visiting http://www.rochdaleexchange.co.uk/kids-club.php or alternatively, sign up on the day.
