Church joins in cleaming up with the Rochdale Environmental Action Group

Rochdale Environmental Action Group was set up eight months ago.
A group of volunteeers have been cleaning up the streets and roads in Milkstone & Deeplish area for the last eight months.
Every Saturday they assemble outside the Castlmere Community Centre and clean, the Groiup has been working with mosques, businesses and various organisations.
On Saturday 16 February the people from the St John Church, Youths & Community Worker and youths from local area joined the Group. The Group cleaned the car park of the NHS Nye Bevan and of the Church, Ann Street, Milkstone Road, Dowling Street and Henry Street.
The Group is planning to work with various other Groups in the Borough i.e. Littleborough, Castleton, Spotland, Middleton in the days to come.
Next week the Rochdale Cycling Group will be joining the Group and will clean the area.
