Valentine Disco
On Thursday, 14 February we are organising a school disco. On this day the children will be able to wear what they want.

Unit One – the disco will be from 2.15-3.15 p.m. A donation of £1.00 for Unit One children is suggested. All Unit One children will be ready to go home or attend Tea Time Club as normal.

Units Two, Three and Four - their disco will start at 3.15 p.m. and finish at 4.30 p.m. Admission will be £1.00 and we will be selling refreshments and there will be lots of activities for the children to join in with. As a guide £2.00 spending money should be more than sufficient.

Writing Competition For World Book Day
We would like all of our children to make a book, with a story they have written themselves, to celebrate World Book Day. We would like them to design a cover and make it look like a book – any design they want to do. We have some titles that they can use:

• Once upon a time 
• There’s a fairy in the garden 
• A long time ago 
• A hero’s lunch 
• How to be a superhero
• Or make up your own

There will be prizes for each year group and some of the younger children may want to use a lot more pictures than words.

Stories need to be given to Mrs Mitchell by the 1 March. Prizes will be given out on World Book Day, which is the 7 March. Please make sure your child’s name, class and year group are clearly marked on the cover. We will also be giving out World Book Day Tokens to all children that week.
