"Operation Save a Child"
A group of kind hearted year eleven students, fronted by Head Girl Solav Kako, began an emergency day of fundraising with just a 4 day timescale to organise it.
The "Operation Save a Child" fundraising was to raise money for an urgent operation for an 11 year old girl suffering from bone marrow cancer.
By selling raffle tickets, cakes, sponsored silences, organising a penalty shoot-out with staff, as well as encouraging teachers to dress up in fancy dress costumes and collect donations during the day, £524 was raised.
This is a testament to the on-going generous nature of our students and staff. Well done!
