My World at Matthew Moss
Date published: 25 January 2013
Learning means a lot to students in My World. My World is a unique subject that allows us to have the ability to learn effectively.
My World teaches us about the ELLI dimensions.
ELLI stands for Effective Lifelong Learning Inventory, which consists of seven dimensions:
- Changing and learning
- Critical curiosity
- Meaning making
- Creativity
- Learning relationships
- Strategic awareness
- Resilience
These dimensions help us overcome challenges in school and life in general.
I like learning in My World because I’m not afraid of getting things wrong and I always get opportunities to improve; this is one reason why My World type learning needs to be encouraged.
Over the next few months my classmates will write more about each of the individual ELLI dimensions. By Georgia Gattenby Year 7
