On Wednesday some of the children took part in the Big School Bird Watch. They were trying to spot different types of birds around the school grounds.

Over the weekend is ‘Garden Watch’. Please try and set aside an hour sometime over the weekend with your child to see how many different types of birds you can spot in your garden. Don’t forget to feed your birds! www.rspb.org.uk/youth

Dinner Money
Dinners are now £1.85 per day - £9.25 per week.

Music Lessons

Parents Evening
Parents evening is Tuesday 12th February – 2.30-5.30pm. Please fill in the slip on the back of the newsletter and send it back as soon as possible and you will be allocated your appointment times.

Wanted!!
If anyone has any spare paving flags, we would really appreciate them to put down around the donkey area. Thank you.

Story Sacs - Reception
Parents of Reception children can come to school at 2.30pm on a Tuesday and go down to the Library area together with their child. You can then pick a Story Sac with your child to take home and read with them. They need to be back in by the Friday morning ready for the following week.

Soccer Academy
S7 Multisports Academy will be holding a Fun Multisports Course at St Edwards Primary School in Rochdale during the upcoming February Holidays.
The event will be open to boys and girls aged 4-12 and will run from 10am-3pm Monday 18th to Friday 22nd February 2013.
During the course children will take part in Fun Challenges / Competitions / Tournaments & Team Games in various sports including Football, Dodgeball, Cricket, Handball & Athletics.
All participants will receive a Certificate & Key ring. The cost will be £7.50 per day or £35 for the full week.
We will be sending out leaflets soon.
