Anti bullying week
We held a follow up to the Anti Bullying week held in November. The School council and Miss Pinto gave a presentation in Friday assembly and will provide a follow up talk next week.

Our first FAST session took place on Wednesday 23 January and was a resounding success with families enjoying the activities.

Chaplaincy meeting – Friday 25 January
Mapi and Ada were welcomed and shown around the school by our School Chaplaincy Team.

Sacramental Programme – Sunday 27 January
A sacramental programme meeting will be held 9.30am at St. John’s Church on Sunday 27 January, all involved please attend.

Playground Pals
Our playground pals are Ana (co-ordinator), Bushra, Courtney, Faith, Fatima, George, Hannah, Iqra, Mary Ellen, Ramsha, Saif, Usman and Victoria.

Where is Wally?
Wally has been visiting China this week.
Visit by Council Road Safety Unit – Monday 11 February

Years 3 and 5 will be given a demonstration and talk by the Road Safety Unit.

Rocking all over the world – Monday 11 February
On the afternoon of Monday 11 February the children will experience a drumming workshop in the school hall. We expect it to be quite a spectacle as the tutor is the former drummer from rock band ‘Status Quo’. Many children will have the opportunity to have a go as well as listening and watching.

Unfortunately we will not have the space to invite parents to the event.

Certificate awards
Awards went to Class 3 for highest attendance.

Golden book awards
The Golden Book awards are for children have tried their best in all areas with politeness and respect.
