St Cuthbert's R.C. Business & Enterprise College

Our whole school theme for this week was Mother Teresa.

“By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus.”

This week’s ENTERPRISE capability was COMMUNICATION and this half-term’s focus for Year 7 is CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION.

External exams have continued this week as do the Yr 11 after school booster sessions for English and Maths. The Staff Learning and Teaching Group meet fortnightly to discuss priorities for the school: this term we will be focusing on active learning, literacy, assessment and challenge.

Expressive Arts rehearsals take place every week -Tuesday lunch: Boys Musical Ensemble in M1; Percussion Group in M2. Wednesday lunch: Steel Pans in M2. Thursday lunch: Jesus Christ Superstar Medley in M1. Friday lunch: Wind Band. New members are always welcome!

Many thanks to all our children, parents, staff and Governors who offered so much support during our recent Ofsted inspection. We will share the inspector’s findings with you as soon as we have the documents. In Christ We Serve.
