Weather-related changes to bus services (1.30p, Monday 14 January)

Most bus services are now serving normal routes due to improving conditions, but some some operators are still reporting weather-related diversions, as follows:

First

  • Service 81 - terminating at Vulcan St (missing Derker Terminus).
  • Service 83 - using Wilkes St leaving Sholver.
  • Service 410/1 - using main roads only.
  • Services 455/458 - not serving Starring Way.
  • Service 438 (Rochdale) - using Daniel Fold only.

Rossendale

  • Service 443 - unable to serve the Elmsfield & Shawfield areas, buses are operating direct along Edenfield Road.
  • Service 466 - unable to serve the Elmsfield area, buses omitting this section of the route, running direct along Bagslate Moor Road between Bamford & Woodyard.
  • Service 477 - unable to serve the Summerseat area, buses are operating direct along Longsight Road between Brandlesholme & Holcombe Brook.
  • Service 478 - unable to serve the Peel Brow & Tanner's Brow areas, buses are operating between Bury & Ramsbottom centre only, running direct along Bolton Road West & Bolton Street between Holcombe Brook & Ramsbottom.
  • Service 479 - service suspended.
  • Service 480 - unable to serve the Affetside and Harwood areas, buses are operating direct along Bradshaw Road between Walves & Bradshaw Chapel.
  • Service 484 - not serving Eliza Street & Peel Brow, buses are operating direct along Bury New Road.
  • Service 486 - unable to serve Ainsworth village, buses are running along Higher Ainsworth Road and Bolton Road between Starling & Bradley Fold.
  • Service 487 - unable to serve Nangreaves, buses are operating between Bury and Walmersley only.
