Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 14 January 2013

Our friends from St Joseph’s Primary School in Heywood have been into school to work with our Year 4 children this week. We are working together on a joint teaching and learning project and look forward to going back to St Joseph’s School this week.

The Citizens of the week are Mrs Smith’s class for working together with the children from St Joseph’s Primary School .

The Year 5 children who went to Robinwood have all had a fantastic time. They have been an absolute credit to parents and the school. Thank you all for supporting us to ensure the children has had this fabulous experience.

Look out for invitations as we will be resuming Class Assemblies again this week! In the meantime you are all always welcome to come and join us in our Celebration Assembly on Friday morning at 9.10am.

Thank you to the parents who have ensured that their child now has a PE kit of black shorts/track suit bottoms and a white top. Please ensure that these are all plain without logos, detailing etc

This week the Nursery and the Reception children will be enjoying an Animal Treasure Hunt as the Entry Point to their next topic.

A reminder that we are still collecting Morrison’s Gardening Vouchers and there is a box in the main reception to place the vouchers. Thank you.

Application forms are now available from the main reception in school for Nursery places for September 2013.
