Happy New Year to all. May 2013 bring true happiness and many blessings.
FAST - Family And School Together
Nursery, Reception and key stage 1 children will have received a leaflet concerning the FAST club which will start in January. It will be held Wednesday afternoons after school and will give parents and children the chance to take part in activities such as cooking, playing, and arts and crafts. It will run for eight weeks only. There are only a few places left now so book your place now and avoid disappointment!
If your child or children are in Key stage 2 you can still be involved as a helper and I invite you to pop into school and simply enquire at the office.
Leave during term time
Please note that leave for holidays and absences taken out of the normal school holidays will not be authorised. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated; Parents will be reported to Education Welfare for these absences and may receive penalties in the way of a fine.
Drumming workshop
On the afternoon of Monday 11 February we will be experiencing a drumming workshop in the school hall. We expect it to be quite a spectacle as the tutor is the former drummer from rock band ‘Status Quo’. Many children will have the opportunity to have a go as well as listening and watching.

We have use of the Church car park which can be accessed from Ann Street by driving down the entrance near the crossing patrol or from Dowling Street opposite the chemists shop.
