Jacky Hayden appointed CBE in New Year Honours list

Professor Jacky Hayden CBE
Professor Jaqueline Hayden of Heywood has been appointed CBE in the New Year Honours list.
The mother of two boys, Jacky has been honoured for her services to medical education.
Jacky is the Postgraduate Dean for the North Western Deanery and Manchester University. Her clinical background is in general practice.
Jacky is chairwoman of the English Deans Committee and vice-chair of COPMED where she has a specific remit for quality, she is co-chairwoman of the JACSTAG Quality Working Group.
Jacky is a member of the RCGP Council and is Lead Dean for psychiatry and dermatology. She has a particular interest in quality management of training, and is a partner and lead visitor for PMETB and an associate for the GMC and lead visitor for QAFP.
