Fun maths roadshow

Date published: 20 December 2012

Year 7 and 8 Matthew Moss Maths students took on a new role this week as ‘Fun Maths Roadshow helpers’ when Year 6 students from Castleton Primary School came to visit.

The hall was set up as a winter wonderland and students made their way round the stalls completing puzzles and problems.

Each student from Castleton was awarded a certificate for taking part as well as a selection box to wish them a Merry Christmas!

All of the students from Year 7 and 8 who took part were also awarded certificates, and six students also received a prize for working hard, being polite, courteous and having a mature and responsible attitude to their learning.

Those students were: From Year 7 Elicia Angus and Faaria Nazli and from Year 8 Sam Blinkhorn, Josh Bowers, Anil Gupta and Harris Aslam.

Congratulations to you all.
