Christmas Productions
Well done to all the children and staff – the performances have been fantastic and enjoyed by everyone.

Christmas at St. Martin’s Church Sunday 23 4pm – Crib Service.
Christmas Eve 11.30pm – Midnight Mass.

Dinner Money
Dinners are now £1.85 per day - £9.25 per week which should be paid on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. We have money envelopes for sale in the office for £1.50.
After Christmas we will be on Week 3 menu.

Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are now due - £19.95. Please make sure fees are up-to-date in the New Year in order to continue with lessons. Thank you.

Castleton Children’s Centre
The free ‘Stay and Play Sessions’ will be from 9.15am-10.45am but if you come to drop older children off at school, there will be toys set up in our community room for the children to play with until the hall is available.

Let’s Get Cooking
45 children applied so they have been split into 3 groups. Letters have gone out to the children letting them know which date and time they will be taking part.

Change of Date
Our parents evening will now be on 12th February at 2.30-5.30pm and not 5th March.

Carbon Footprints
As an eco-friendly school we are asking all pupils, staff, parents and members of the local community to make a New Year’s resolution to reduce their carbon footprint, e.g. I promise to walk to school more often; I will remember to switch off lights; I will try to recycle. On the back of this week’s newsletter there is a copy of a footprint. Please could you write your pledge on the footprint, cut it out and return it to school in the New Year. Thank you.

This year we are inviting you to share your child’s class assembly. Assemblies will take approx 15mins. Dates for next half term:

Christingle
If you have received a Christingle Money Box or wish to donate any spare change, please send it into school. All money goes to the Children’s Society. Thank you.

Christmas Holidays
School closes on Friday, 21st December at the normal time and re-opens on Monday 7 January, 2013.
