Armed Robbery in Littleborough

An armed robbery took place at Lake Supermarket, Smithybridge Road on Saturday 15 December at 8:35pm.
Two men, one armed with a machete, entered the store to steal cash.
A shop assistant tried to stop them and was injured, sustaining a laceration to his hand; the man was treated by the ambulance service.
The men made their get away in a red car.
