Rochdale Council of Mosques raises money for GAZA
Rochdale Council of Mosques (RCM) held a collection and raised £10,000. The funds will go towards assisting those in need of food, water, blankets and medicine in Gaza.
Tahir Mahmood Chairperson of RCM commented: “The community having seen the scale of destruction in Gaza, came together to raise this amount. People are extremely upset with the outcome involving innocent Palestinians, particular young children being made to suffer again.”
Mr Mahmood concluded: “We would also like to thank everyone for their support in helping raise this amount. The funds raised will go a long way in helping those who have lost everything.”
