Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 14 December 2012

Citizens of the week are Key Stage One for a fun packed and entertaining assembly. Well done to everyone in Key Stage One!

The Christmas concerts will be next Thursday 20 December at 1.30pm and Friday 21 December at 9.30am. Please come along and support us! We look forward to seeing you.

It was brilliant to see so many of you on Tuesday after school for our joint winter fair. An amount of £347.00 was raised between the two schools and the children will be consulted after the holidays to get their thoughts on what resources they would like to buy from the proceeds.

Please ensure that all remaining contact forms are returned to school before the Christmas break to allow us to update our records. It is essential that we have up to date contact details of the adults you are authorising to pick up your child.

A reminder that the Christmas lunch will take place on Tuesday 18 December and that due to the Christmas Concerts the next Celebration Assembly will be on Thursday 20 December and invites will be sent early.

The Christmas Parties will take place on Friday 21 December from 1.00pm and remind you that the Children can bring party clothes to get changed into.

As we all know the temperature outside is very low at the moment! Unless it is wet outside and/or not safe then the children will still be outside playing at break and lunch times. All children are expected to wear their coats at these times. We would advise that your child also wears a hat and gloves. Thank you

A reminder that the school will close for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 21 December 2012 at 3.15pm and re-open on Monday 7 January 2013
