Archdeacon of Rochdale to conduct orchestra performance of 'Messiah'

The Archdeacon of Rochdale, Venerable Cherry Vann, is to conduct The Bolton Chamber Orchestra in a performance of part one of Handel's Messiah, with many clergy taking part in the choir, on Sunday 9 December at Bolton Parish Church at 7pm.
A spokesman for the Diocese said: "Any clergy wishing to take part should contact Cherry with their name, parish and which part they sing (SATB) at pa.archrochdale@manchester.anglican.org or 0161 678 1454. There is a rehearsal from 4-6pm on the day. Please bring your own copy of Messiah if possible."
