Christmas Fair
Thank you for all your support. We raised a fantastic £1,120 which will go back into school funds for the benefit of all children.
Thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to help and a big Thank You to the Royal Toby Hotel for their help, support and generosity.

Swimming Training
Year 5/6 swimming training on Friday mornings has now finished until the New Year.

Travelling Tuba
The Travelling Tuba Company has been in school working with the children. They gave a demonstration and then children had the chance to try some of the musical instruments.

Christmas Cracker
Well done to all the children who performed at the Music Concert on Sunday at Gracie Fields Theatre. They all performed and behaved beautifully and were a credit to the school.

Christmas Productions
KS1 (Yrs 1/2) – Tuesday 11th December at 2pm. Wednesday 12 December 6pm.
The last chance for ordering tickets for KS1 is tomorrow. Please make sure all children have their costumes in by tomorrow (Yr 1 need jeans and a plain T-shirt, any colour). All children need to be here for the evening performance at 5.40pm.
Yr 6 Victorian Music Hall – Wednesday 19 December 6.30pm.

Lego Competition
Some of our Year 6 children are in a Lego Competition at Middleton CLC on Friday. Good luck to the children

Dinner Money
Dinners are now £1.85 per day - £9.25 per week which please send in an envelope with your child’s name and class on.
We have some dinner envelopes for sale in the school office for £1.50.
Next week we are on Week 1.

Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are now due - £19.95. Please pay these and any outstanding fees into school as soon as possible in order to continue with lessons. Thank you.

Castleton Children’s Centre
The free ‘Stay and Play Sessions’ have now finished until the New Year. The sessions will be from 9.15am-10.45am but if you come to drop older children off at school, there will be toys set up in our community room for the children to play with until the hall is available.

Christingle Service
The whole school are going to St. Martin’s Church on Friday 14th December for a service at 10.30am. We will be leaving school at 10am if any parents would like to join us.

St. Martin’s Christingle Creation Service is on Friday evening, 14th December at 6.30pm. All Welcome!

School Christmas Dinner
School Christmas dinner is on Thursday 20th December. If your child does not normally have a lunch but would like Christmas lunch, please fill in the slip on the back of the newsletter. Dinners are £1.85. There will be NO munch lunches on this day.
