Date published: 08 October 2011

A team of walkers from the Rochdale office of a care company have taken part in the Alzheimer’s Society annual Memory Walk at Heaton Park.

The seven strong team from Home Instead Senior Care were joined by business owner, David Bradshaw’s son Ben and daughter Abigail and they raised £125 for the charity between them.

Mr Bradshaw, said: “Home Instead works with people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s on a daily basis so we are more than aware of the issues this presents. We were delighted to support the charity’s Memory Walk.

“The Memory Walk is now a firm fixture on our calendar and the funds we have raised will help the Alzheimer’s Society in their fight against dementia.”
