St. Clements Church, Spotland
This Sunday (31 October 2010): 10.30am All Saints Service including Sung Holy Communion.
At 3pm, our “All Souls Service" This service is a time to remember family and friends who have died and to bring comfort to those who are bereaved.
Monday 1 November the Monday Nighters meet at 7.30pm the speaker is Donald Cash on “The 4 Northern Counties.” This is an open meeting and all are welcome.
There will NO service on Tuesday evening this week; Said Holy Communion is on Thursday morning at 9.30am.
Over the weekend of 20 and 21 November we will be celebrating the 175th Anniversary of St Clement’s Church. On the Saturday evening at 7pm there will be a concert and tickets are £4.00 including light refreshments, there will be a raffle on the night.
On the Sunday at 3pm there will be a service of Celebration led by Bishop Nigel, the Bishop of Manchester.
Also on sale to mark the anniversary we have a commemorative candle and a recipe book they are priced at £2.50 each also coming shortly will be a “St Clement’s Calendar”. For more information please see any church member.
