Teens charged with burglary

Two teenagers are due in court charged in connection with a burglary at a house in Heywood.
Shortly before 9.40am on Thursday (14 October 2010), two youths were seen running along Barley Hall Street with a games console.
Officers attended and discovered a house had been broken into.
Following a search of the town centre two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were arrested inside a taxi and a number of stolen items were recovered.
The pair have been charged with burglary and are due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates' Court today (Saturday 16 October 2010).
All items stolen in the burglary were returned to the owner.
