EXPOCHEF Chef ‘Pete’ is back at St John’s on Friday 22 October with more superb tasty and healthy recipes to cook with the children.
HALF TERM DATES
Half term holiday is Monday 25 to Friday 29 October.
GOVERNORS’ MEETING
The next full governors’ meeting is at 3pm on Tuesday 19 October
SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER The photographer will be taking individual and family group photos on Wednesday 10 November. If you would like a family photo with a younger pre school child please come to the school hall early before 9am if possible.
PARENT –TEACHER MEETINGS
The dates for our next round of parent-teacher meetings are Monday 15 November and Friday 19 November both 1.15 till 4.15pm. There will be lists at school for parents and carers to sign up for a mutually convenient appointment
ST CUTHBERT’S ARTS FESTIVAL Many thanks to the staff at St Cuthbert’s for organising the annual Arts festival at their high school. It was a very enjoyable evening for all concerned.
PARKING AND TRAFFIC ISSUES
Parents and carers, please be aware of new parking restrictions in the area around school. Also please check for details of imminent road closures in relation to the new Metrolink construction work which is in progress. Children’s safety is of course paramount so please make use of the school crossing patrol where appropriate and make sure children are well supervised at all times.
FAMILY HOLIDAYS
Thank you for only taking family holidays during school holiday time. No family holidays will be authorised during term time. If your child is off school at any time due to illness then please contact the school office first thing to let us know. Many thanks again.
BRING AND BUY SALE
Many thanks to all parents and cares who contributed in bring and buy sale which was held on Thursday 14 October in aid of Pakistan flood victims.
