Kind hearted regulars from a Rochdale pub have helped to raise more than £3000 for the Springhill Hospice in a charity football match.
Locals from the Horse and Jockey on Well’ith Lane took part in a 5-a-side football event back in August.
The final amount of £3500 was presented to Kath Meredith from the hospice.
The match was played by the “Jockey Legends” and a younger 5-a-side team.
The game was sponsored by Steven Gordon Griffin of the Carpet Depot who kindly sponsored the the Legend T- Shirts.
An anonymous donator donated over £200 to make the final total a round figure.
Organiser Debra Brown said: “I was very proud of everyone that took part and was amazed by the amount we raised due to the Horse and Jockey being such a small pub."
