Body found on motorway

A man jumped to his death from a HGV crossing a motorway bridge today.
One lane of the M62 west bound between junction 22 and 21 was shut after a man’s body was found.
Police were called shortly after 5.50am following reports a man in his 30s had jumped from the cab of the vehicle and over a bridge.
The man was a passenger in the cab and police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
