Possible multi million pound compensation for hit and run victim

A boy who suffered serious injuries when he was hit by an unisured driver could receive millions of pounds in compensation.
Daniel Hennessy, from Dublin, was five years old when he was hit by the car of Sajid Hussain on Belfield Road.
Daniel had travelled to Rochdale to visit his grandparents.
He suffered severe head and spinal injuries as a result of the accident.
Hussain, was sixteen at the time, he was given a two year driving ban but a few months later he hit a lollipop lady who suffered a broken jaw and pelvis.
He was then sent to a young offenders institute for eighteen months. In 2007 he was jailed for nine months for driving without insurance whilst being disqualified.
The exact amount of compensation Daniel will receive has yet to be decided.
